Welcome to the Tacoma chapter of Singing Resistance!
Singing Resistance is building a mass movement of singers to protect and care for our communities in the face of rising authoritarianism. We are grounded in love, nonviolence, and solidarity. Through our actions we seek to embody and represent that which we are fighting for: beloved communities of strong ties, coming together in defense of life, where all are loved and cared for.

This Tacoma area group is formed in solidarity with Singing Resistance in Minneapolis with the purpose of bringing songs of grief, solidarity, love, and resistance to protests, vigils, and strikes to unify and strengthen the network of existing community action in our state.

This form helps us stay in touch and get an idea of how you want to participate, your general location, and what you are willing and able to contribute to this movement.
