Register your child for the Manhattan Fire Protection District Babysitter Bootcamp. Please complete all sections and provide consent for participation.
This summer, give your teen the opportunity to gain valuable skills and certifications through our Babysitting Bootcamp! Designed specifically for junior high and high school students, this two-day program will provide hands-on training in early childhood development, basic childcare, safety, and CPR certification. Students will learn:
- The essentials of child development at every age
- Age-appropriate food and activity recommendations
- Basic caregiving skills to ensure children’s well-being
- Safety protocols and emergency preparedness
CPR certification to handle critical situations with confidence. With only 24 spots available, this intimate program ensures personalized attention and an engaging learning experience. Registration is open until June 5th —don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!
Ages: 12 to 16 years of age

Location: Manhattan Fire Protection District, 100 Park Road, Manhattan, IL 60442

Class Dates & Times: June 11-12- June 11th: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.- June 12th: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Attire: Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.Payment: $50 due before class. Please bring cash or a check (payable to Manhattan Fire Protection District) to the station prior to class.
