  • Calling Artists with an original play in early development stage.

‘Mulgoa Stories’ is the Q Theatre’s residency program that champions the creation of new work that is for, with and by Western Sydney Artists. It’s designed to make creative space and time for developing a new work from it’s early stages of development to a finished work.

Q Theatre's ‘Mulgoa Stories’ aims to:

    • Develop new work, through stages, to a potentially finished product and viable production. Q Theatre puts the work at the centre of the process.
    • Support and give voice to the work of Penrith & Greater Western Sydney Artists and our stories.

Q Theatre will support one residency in 2026. Further residencies may be considered, funding dependent. The successful applicant/s will receive financial aid, space to develop the work and technical, dramaturgical and production support for dedicated creative development.
