By registering for and participating in America’s Ride (“Event”), I acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand that participation in a motorcycle ride event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, death, property damage, road hazards, traffic conditions, weather conditions, actions of other riders, mechanical failure, and unforeseen circumstances. I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with participation in this Event.
I certify that I am legally licensed to operate a motorcycle, possess a valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement (if required by my state), and carry valid motorcycle insurance as required by law. I further certify that my motorcycle is in safe operating condition and that I am physically and mentally capable of safely participating in this Event.
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own safety, conduct, motorcycle condition, and compliance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in America’s Ride, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless America’s Ride, its organizers, affiliated nonprofit partners, sponsors, volunteers, officers, directors, ride captains, agents, representatives, successors, assigns, and associated entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any injury, disability, death, or property damage that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me while participating in the Event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims brought by third parties arising from my actions or conduct during the Event.
REGISTRATION FEE & REFUND POLICY
I understand that the Event registration fee supports operational expenses, logistics, safety coordination, administrative costs, and charitable fundraising efforts. All registration fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued due to weather, mechanical issues, illness, scheduling conflicts, event modification, cancellation due to force majeure, or failure to attend (no-show).
WEATHER & FORCE MAJEURE
America’s Ride is a rain-or-shine event. The Event may be modified, delayed, shortened, or canceled at the sole discretion of the organizers if conditions are deemed unsafe or due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, governmental action, public health emergency, or other force majeure events. Cancellation or modification does not entitle participants to a refund.
CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
I understand that a portion of Event proceeds may benefit designated nonprofit partners. Registration fees and additional donations are voluntary and non-refundable. Any tax-deductible portion, if applicable, will be determined solely by the organizing entity and applicable law.
MEDIA RELEASE
I grant permission to America’s Ride and its affiliates to use photographs, video recordings, and other media content of me taken during the Event for promotional, marketing, fundraising, and social media purposes without compensation or further approval.
CODE OF CONDUCT
I agree to ride responsibly, obey all traffic laws, refrain from reckless or unsafe behavior, and follow the direction of ride captains and Event coordinators. I understand that unsafe conduct may result in removal from the Event without refund.
GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from participation in this Event shall be resolved exclusively in Hillsborough County, Florida.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read this agreement in its entirety, fully understand its terms, understand that I am giving up substantial legal rights, and agree to it voluntarily.
