    Workshop 1 - Monday April 20th, 6:15-8:00pm
    Workshop 2 - Monday May 18th, 6:15-8:00pm
    June (1-1 Sessions)
    June 22nd + June 23rd 2026 (30 minute sessions)

    This 3 month program is for an intimate cohort of emerging to mid-career artists across disciplines to:

    • Learn about the key elements of grantwriting 
    • Co-create a supportive monthly ecosystem of accountability to work towards submitting a grant
    • Receive support in writing a grant over the course of 3 months
    • Receive 1-1 support session at the end of the 3 months

    This program includes “homework” between between sessions that participants will be asked to complete

    Outcomes
    By the end of the program, each participant will have:

    • learned about the key elements of grant writing
    • received an introduction to the granting landscape in Canada
    • received feedback on a grant proposal

    About the Facilitator:
    Shaina Agbayani is a Tagalog transdisciplinary artist whose work is devoted to unraveling borders between art, life, ritual and ecology. Her work as writer, curator, producer, and interdisciplinary artist has been supported by organizations such as the Laidlaw Foundation, the Tides Foundation, the School for Social Entrepreneurs, the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council, and the Canada Council for the Arts. As co-founder of Greenhouse Theatre, she has curated programming merging ritual, art, land connection, and interdisciplinary creative practices across Turtle Island and in the archipelago known as the Philippines.
