Essay Assignment: Leadership Styles and Personal Growth

Interview three people who have had a positive influence on your life. Ask each person to describe their approach or style of leadership and the lessons they believe are most important for success and personal growth. In your essay, explain what you learned from each individual about leadership, compare the different styles they shared, and reflect on how those lessons have influenced your own leadership approach or will guide you in the future.

You may choose leaders from a variety of areas in your life, such as a pastor, grandparent, parent, teacher, principal, coach, employer, or supervisor.
