GMEDC's Upper Valley Welcome Wagon (UVWW) is encouraging local hosts to invite new (or returning) Vermonters in Orange and Windsor Counties for a meal during the month of March 2026.

Newcomers move here from all across the United States, and many times the end of their first winter or two can be especially challenging when it comes to connecting. Let's turn that around and make this March a month full of community & neighborly connection!

We will reimburse local host meal expenses up to $25 per new resident ($100 maximum). Inviting a couple for dinner, you'll get up to $50 reimbursed! A family of 4 = $100! Valid expenses could include a breakfast, lunch, dinner out on the town, or even groceries for a home-cooked meal.

In order to qualify for this program, you must agree to the following terms & conditions:
- New Vermont resident(s) must have relocated after March 2024
- Both host and newcomer must be a member of Upper Valley Welcome Wagon living in Orange or Windsor County, Vermont.
  - Not a UVWW member yet? Hop on the wagon here!
  - Different Vermont County? Check for your region here
- Complete this form & recieve a confirmation email from outreach@gmedc prior to your meal. Funding is available on a first come, first serve basis.
- Host must complete the Reimbursement Form in it's entirety after your meal, including:
  - Newcomer details
  - Photo/selfie at the meal
  - Brief narrative of how it went
  - Copy of iemized receipt dated between 3/1/2026-3/31/2026
