The CIPHI 2026 Annual Education Conference is sponsored by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI). CIPHI reserves the right to render all interpretations and to establish further regulations as may be deemed necessary for the general success of the conference and exhibition.
CIPHI reserves the right to decline, prohibit or expel an exhibit which, in its judgment, is out of character of the exhibition and/or is in violation of this contract or any rules or regulations now or hereafter in effect.
The exhibit space will include 1 (one) table (8 ft) with two chairs and supplied with a power source if required. CIPHI reserves the option, in any emergency, either to substitute comparable display space if required by unforeseen circumstances or to refund the exhibit fee. Lighting in the exhibit area may not illuminate all areas evenly and effectively, and therefore, CIPHI will not assume responsibility for providing additional lighting.
Exhibitors shall be responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, or approvals required under municipal, provincial, or federal law applicable to their activity at the exhibition. Exhibitor shall be responsible for obtaining tax identification numbers and paying all taxes, license fees or charges that shall become due to any governmental authority. Over-the-counter sales during the exhibition are prohibited.
Exhibitor agrees not to assign, sublet, or apportion space or any part thereof allotted to the exhibitor. Exhibitors cancelling before July 29, 2026 will receive a full refund, less a $99 processing fee. Exhibitors cancelling between July 29 to August 7 will forfeit 50% of the total rental. No refunds will be issued after August 7, 2026. Cancellation notices must be in writing to CIPHI Office via email at registration@ciphi.ca.
An exhibitor shall carry its own liability insurance of no less than $2,000,000 and provide proof of coverage by August 3, 2026. CIPHI and the exhibition facility assume no responsibility for the safety of the properties of the exhibitor, its officers, agents, or employees from theft, damages by fire, accident, or any other cause whatsoever, and the exhibitor expressly agrees to save and hold blameless CIPHI, the decorator/ exposition company and the exhibition facility and their respective management, agents, and employees from any and all liability resulting from injuries or damage to the exhibitor, its agents, employees persons and/or properties in connection with the exhibitor’s use of the exhibit space.
The conference will be hosted at the Delta Hotel & Conference Center, which will accept exhibitor packages/equipment no more than 7 days prior to the conference. Exhibitors are responsible for any charges associated with the handling and storage of display materials by the hotel. Exhibitors are responsible for any shipping costs, duty taxes, or brokerage fees. All shipped materials for exhibits at the hotel must be clearly labelled as follows:
