General Policies
to be aware of:
Waitlist: Thanks for registering for our waitlist. We're sorry your chosen camp wasn't available. Junior Guides has become increasingly popular, and it's difficult to accommodate everyone for select dates. In 2026, we will offer 10 sessions for over 500 campers, but some popular dates will fill early. By submitting this form, you are put on a list, and will prioritize offers by registration sequence. We will contact you when your position moves to the front of the line, as soon as a space becomes available. This could happen as late as the day before camp commences! There's no obligation to accept when this occurs.
Cancellation Policy: We know things come up, and that plans change. Please appreciate that we pay vendors for their services, though, and we may not be able to backfill camp participants. We'll always try and work with you, but our basic policy is this:
If you cancel at least 60 days before your trip:
100% credit back less actual PayPal fees and $25 administration fee.
If you cancel less than 60 days from camp: Refunds granted only if space can be resold minus actual PayPal fees and $25 administration fee. (Resale is unlikely less than 15 days from camp.)
Junior Guides is a three-day program. Partial camp attendance is not allowed.
What is included in JG tuition registration fees? 3 days of rafting instruction - generally 8:30-5:00, hearty lunches, snacks, all group rafting gear, use of a lifejacket & helmet, and evening activities. These evening activities are generally open to family participation.
