  • The signature below indicates the party responsible for this entry has completely read and understands the rules set forth in the "Fannin County Fair Board Parade Rules". The signature also releases the Fannin County Fair Board and its volunteers, officers and executive board members for any damages, injuries and/or loss of property that may occur at this event. It is this party's responsibility to ensure sure all participants on the entry adhere to them.*Must be over 21 years of age to sign.I verify that I have read the rules and information regarding the 2026 Fannin County Fair Parade.*
  • FANNIN COUNTY FAIR PARADE 2026

    October 5th, Monday, 6:00 PM

     

    RULES AND INFORMATION

     Time: 5:00 PM – Parade lineup begins (On 5th from Willow St. to Civic Center)
    6:00 PM – Parade (RAIN or SHINE)

     

    Route: Parade starts at 5th and Main, loops around the courthouse to Center Street, and ends at the corner of 9th Street and Center Street turning west.

    Theme: Stars, Stripes & County Fair Nights

    GENERAL RULES

    ·        All vehicles must be driven by someone licensed and 21 years of age or older.

    ·        NEW RULE: For the safety of children and spectators NO ITEMS may be thrown or handed out from floats, vehicles, or walkers. Violation will result in DISQUALIFICATION from prizes.

    ·        Bike riders must be accompanied by an adult.

    ·        All animals must be 'parade broke' and accustomed to crowds and noise.

    ·        No profanity or nudity may be displayed on any entry (including music, signs, or clothing).

    ·        NO ENTRY OVER 60 FEET ALLOWED.

    ·        Each youth group must have an adult supervisor responsible for following parade rules.

    ·        When disbanding, units must NOT block traffic flow for participants behind them.
