      NA RETI is a collaborative partnership across Turtle Island, bringing together participants and facilitators from Canada and the United States. We are deeply committed to representing a rich diversity of people, identities, nationalities, and citizenship experiences. Please note that the schedule includes two in-person modules: one week in Toronto, Ontario, and one week in Detroit, Michigan. Therefore, all participants must be able to legally cross the US-Canada border and possess the required government-issued documentation (such as passports or visas) to travel between the two countries. Please ensure the full name on your passport matches the name provided in this application. Your passport must be valid through at least February 2027. The passport number is required for identification and travel coordination purposes.

    • SECTION 7: INVESTMENT & FEES 
    • Program Fees:

      We are committed to making NATI-RETI 2026 accessible to emerging leaders across all economic circumstances. Thanks to the generous support of sponsoring denominations, need-based financial assistance towards the Program Fee (CA$ 2,500) - (US$ 1,800) is available for applicants who demonstrate financial need.
    • Please note the following regarding costs:

      All participants are required to pay a (CA$ 200) - (US$ 150) Registration Fee upon acceptance to secure their place. Financial assistance does not cover this fee. Travel Costs: Participants are responsible for arranging and funding their own transportation from their home location to Detroit (for the start of the program) and from Toronto back to their home location (at the conclusion of the program). Incidental Costs: Costs for passports, visas, and mandatory travel insurance are the sole responsibility of the participant.
