Overview
The Utah Figure Skating Club (UFSC) is committed to supporting its dedicated skaters who represent our club at high-level competitive events. Scholarships are intended to recognize athletic achievement and a commitment to the club’s success through volunteerism and participation. Please note that scholarships are granted at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors and are considered a privilege, not an entitlement.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Membership: You must be a full, home-club member in good standing for at least two consecutive seasons, including the current and previous membership years.
- Financial Standing: All membership dues must have been paid in full by July 1st of the current year.
- Volunteer Service: You must be current on all required volunteer hours for both the current and previous membership years.
- Representation: You must have competed on behalf of "Utah FSC" at an eligible event and be listed as such in the official results
Application Deadline
Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the qualifying event and no later than June 15th for the current skating season.
Required Documentation
A complete application must include:
A copy of the official competition results.
Verification of at least three club-specific qualification standards met during the current competitive season (e.g., Ice Show participation, Copper Cup competition, or meeting volunteer hour requirements).
