Bridges to Canadian Law is a six-week program designed for senior high–aged youth that builds on foundational knowledge of the Canadian criminal justice system, with an expanded focus on youth justice and the Youth Criminal Justice System (YCJS) as youth transition into greater legal responsibility. Topics include social justice and inequality, policing and youth crime, the role of the courts, civil law and everyday legal issues, and how the justice system functions in practice.
