This is unacceptable in the wealthiest nation on earth.

We, the undersigned, call on Congress to enact Medicare for All — a universal, single-payer healthcare system that guarantees comprehensive coverage for every American citizen.

Medicare for All would:

Guarantee healthcare coverage for every person in the United States
Eliminate premiums, deductibles, and copays
End surprise medical billing
Cover essential services including primary care, hospital care, mental health, dental, vision, and prescription drugs
Reduce administrative waste and lower overall healthcare costs
No more medical bankruptcies.
No more rationing insulin.
No more tying healthcare to employment.

It is time to put patients over profits and people over corporate insurance companies.

Congress must act now.
