  • About the Programme

    This programme prepares Board members to lead with integrity and confidence in today’s charity environment. It will equip you with frameworks and tools to navigate ethical dilemmas and embed ethics into your charity's DNA. 

    What You’ll Get

    • Sharpen your Board’s ethical decision making with the Ethical Decision-Making Decision-making Framework 
    • Learn from case studies on ethical charity governance
    • Acquire skills to strengthen ethical board culture, accountability, and public trust
    • Gain complimentary access to the Community of Practice for Ethical Leadership upon completion of the programme 

    Format

    • 2.5 hours of self-paced e-learning
    • 4.5 hours of self-paced webinars 
    • 8 hours of virtual self-paced workshops
    • Invitation to the Community of Practice after completion

    Modules

    There are a total of 8 modules in the course. The modules have to be completed sequentially.

    Modules 1 to 3 are a series of self-paced e-learning modules. These modules are focused on Theory and provide the foundation for ethical leadership and fiduciary obligations in line with the Code of Governance for Charities and IPCs.

    Modules 4 to 6 are a series of self-paced webinars. These sessions focus on Application, where you can practice what you have learnt in the earlier modules and apply the Ethical Thinking Lenses and Ethical Decision-Making Framework to case studies together with our panel of experts. 

    Modules 7 and 8 are self-paced virtual workshops where you can develop actionable steps that your charity can implement.

    Schedule

    Complete the modules by the timelines below. The modules have to be completed sequentially.

    • Between 1 April 2026 to 30 June 2026: Complete Modules 1-6.
    • July 2026: Module 7 runs from 1 July 2026 – 31 July 2026. Complete the workshop tasks by the stipulated deadlines in the module.
    • August 2026: Module 8 runs from 1 August 2026 – 31 August 2026. Complete the workshop tasks by the stipulated deadlines in the module.

     

    Outcome

    You will be equipped to foster an ethical culture, make clear and principled Board decisions, and guide your organisation to act with trust and transparency in line with your organisation’s ethical compass as new challenges arise.

    A) Organisational Role

    I am currently either:

    A staff member or Sub-Committee Member of a registered or exempt charity or Institution of a Public Character (IPC), holding an official designation within the organisation, and I have served in this capacity for at least 6 months as of the date of registration,

    OR

    A formally appointed Board Member of a registered or exempt charity or IPC at the point of registration.

    B) Residency Status

    I am either:

    A Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident,

    OR

    A holder of a valid Employment Pass (EP), Work Permit (WP), or S Pass (SP) with at least 15 months of validity from the date of the in-person session selected at registration.

    Volunteers (except those formally appointed as Board Members) are not eligible for the grant.This question is required.*

    By registering under the CCF Training Grant option, you agree to the following:

    Grant Approval & Disbursement Requirements:

    The CCF Training Grant is subject to the CCF Secretariat’s approval, and the submission of the CCF Training Grant Application does not confirm or guarantee eligibility or constitute as the CCF Secretariat’s approval.

    Please note that final grant application outcomes by the CCF Secretariat will only be confirmed 1 to 2 months after the course concludes on 31 August 2026.

    To be eligible for the CCF Training Grant disbursement, you must:

    a) Complete the full Ethics for Charity Boards in Singapore Programme (the “Programme”) AND

    b) Have your grant application approved by the CCF Secretariat.

    If your CCF Training Grant application is not approved for any reason indicated by the CCF Secretariat, you will not be eligible to receive the grant.

    Responsibility for Fees:

    If you are not eligible for CCF funding, or if your CCF Training Grant application is not approved or disbursed by the CCF Secretariat for any reason, you agree to bear full financial responsibility for the outstanding balance of the course fees that would have been covered by the grant (i.e. the full course fee of $1,000).

    Accuracy of Information and Eligibility:

    You confirm that you will provide accurate and complete information in the CCF Training Grant Application Form and that you have reviewed all eligibility and completion requirements before applying.

    You understand and accept that any inaccurate information provided (including, but not limited to: inaccurate ID number, date of birth order, employer UEN, etc.) or failure to fulfil course completion criteria will result in your disqualification for the grant.

    Finality of Grant Application Outcomes:

    You acknowledge that all decisions made by the CCF Secretariat regarding CCF Training Grant applications are final. Please note that PBSG Academy is not able to submit appeals on behalf of registrants.
