• ACP Research Symposium and Support Package Application

    May 8-9, 2026 | Boston University
  • Guidelines and Requirements

  • The ACP will be hosting the 2026 Research Symposium May 8-9 at Boston University. Initial program details for this symposium can be found at Prosthodontics.org.

Thanks to the generosity of several ACP sponsors and members, in addition to support from the ACP and the ACP Education Foundation, we are pleased to provide a registration support package to a limited number of prosthodontic program directors and residents on a first-come, first-served basis.

    The support package will include:

    • ACP Research Symposium registration fee waiver for up to three individuals:
      • Prosthodontic program director at a CODA-accredited institution (or other faculty member designated by the program director).
      • Up to two PG-1 residents from that institution, as selected by the program director.
    • One night of hotel accommodations for the program director and one night of hotel accommodations for each resident selected. Reservations will be for May 8 at the AC Hotel by Marriott Boston Downtown and made by the ACP. If travel option limitations mean you will need an additional hotel night before the symposium (May 7) or after (May 9) in order to attend the full symposium, please contact Marcus Mixon at mmixon@prosthodontics.org so that we can review your situation.
    • Travel reimbursement of up to $600 for each individual, following the guidelines listed below.

Attendees will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements. Reimbursement will be available for flights, trains, and car travel, up to $600 total per individual. To be eligible for travel reimbursement, all travel arrangements must be booked at least 30 days in advance of departure. Only coach seating is eligible. Once your application is accepted, the ACP Central Office will provide an expense reimbursement form. Reimbursement forms must be returned to the ACP Central Office within 30 days of the conclusion of the symposium and with all related receipts to be eligible for reimbursement. Any reimbursement forms received after June 9, 2026 will not be accepted.

Attendees will be responsible for any other costs not listed above as part of the support package. If you would like to add additional hotel nights (at your own expense) in addition to the night that will be provided on May 8 as part of the support package, please contact Marcus Mixon at mmixon@prosthodontics.org. The room rate is $329 plus applicable taxes/night.

To qualify and register, both the program director (or faculty designee) and the PG-1 resident(s) must note the following:

    • All participants must be current members of the ACP.
    • The program director (or faculty designee) must complete the application below on behalf of all participants.
    • All participants will be required to complete a pre-event survey. This survey will be sent via email closer to the event date.
    • All participants will be required to complete a post-event survey after the conclusion of the symposium.
    • All participants will be required to attend all sessions beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET on Friday, May 8 through 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 9.
    • This registration support package is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is a limited amount of support available.

Please note that institutions are required to send at least one PG-1 resident to the symposium to qualify for this registration support package. Sending a second PG-1 resident is welcome, but not required.

Once the maximum number of registrations qualifying for the support package has been reached, a secondary registration option that includes a registration fee charge will be opened for other interested groups.

  • Registration Support Package Application
