EXHIBITION FOR CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY & METALSMITHS AT THE TURNER CONTEMPORARY IN MARGATE

Silver + Form is very excited to host its third exhibition and fair featuring Contemporary Jewellery, Silverware, Objets d'art and Sculptures by some of the best UK-based silversmiths and metalsmiths in the amazing setting of Turner Contemporary Art Gallery, Margate. “Designed by the immaculately progressive David Chipperfield, Turner Contemporary is probably the most elegant gallery interior in Britain right now”, is how the gallery has been described by art critic, Waldemar Januszczak.
ABOUT SILVER + FORM:

We are Anja Hessler, an artist and designer of contemporary mobile sculptures and Nessa Warner, designer and maker of contemporary silver and gold jewellery. THE VENUE:

Sited on Margate’s seafront, Turner Contemporary enjoys striking views of the North Kent Coast. This inspiring setting is the perfect venue for events and the reason why we have chosen it to host our exhibition. Since opening in 2011, the gallery has attracted over 4 million visitors (that’s an annual average of 307,000). Entry to the gallery and exhibition is free.
EXHIBITION DATES:

Setup:
Saturday 21st November 2026, 8:30am - 11am

Exhibition Hours:
Saturday 21st November 2026, 11am - 5pm
Sunday 22nd November 2026, 11am - 5pm

Tear Down:
Sunday 22nd November 2026, 5pm - 6pm (NOT before 5pm)
APPLYING AND SELECTION:

Applications are now invited from UK-based individual Silver and Metalsmiths. Please submit your application before midnight on 30th March 2026 including your CV/artist statement and a minimum of 4 labeled images of your work, clearly labelled with: your name, title of work, medium, size and guide price.

Monday 30th March 2026 (midnight)

Exhibitor Announcement:
Monday 13th April 2026
STAND OPTIONS:

1. Table Top: £340 (Tables will be countertop height (900mm) and include a white table cover)
- Tables measure 1830W x 800D x 900H.
2. Display Cabinet: £540
- Lockable Display Cabinets measure 1050H x 1500W x 600D and include 5 x 20w voltage halogen lamps plus plunger lock and key.
Each stand includes:
- One or two chairs, as required.
- Power supply.
- WiFi access (password provided on the day).

Final layout will be shared once all spaces have been booked.
PAYMENT TERMS

To secure your place a £100 deposit is required. We will issue an invoice upon receipt and approval of application. Please note payment of the deposit is due within 7 days of acceptance. The remaining balance will be due by 1st August 2026 or your deposit will be forfeit and your space will become available for offer to another.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:

All work must be original and by the maker. Makers cannot sublet their space or any part of it to another party. Makers cannot display the work of another party without our prior approval. Makers must be attendant at their stand throughout the opening times of the event. Should the unforeseeable happen and the event is cancelled, we will return your deposit and stand fee to you in full, but we cannot be held liable for any other additional expenses which have been incurred by you. Makers are responsible for their own insurance, that of their work and public liability.
