Food Concession Application

General Booth Details:

What: 52nd Annual Old Fashioned Day
When: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Where: Saline County Courthouse Lawn, Benton, AR

Booth availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Booth renters may not solicit donations for their individual booth in the name of Old Fashioned Day. Violators will be prohibited from participating in future events.

The Old Fashioned Day Committee reserves the right to remove any individual or group violating the event rules. The applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Old Fashioned Day Committee from any and all liability.

Food Concession Guideline:

1. The fee is $100.00. This fee is nonrefundable.
2. Please note that electricity and water will not be provided to booths this year. 
3. Your concession must meet all of the Arkansas State Health Department criteria concerning concession stands.
4. Each concession is responsible for pickup of all litter from their site before leaving the premises.
5. A list of each food item to be sold by the concession and a price list of each item must be listed on the application.  We do reserve the right to refuse items; please check with the event coordinator.
6. The concession is solely responsible and answerable in damages for any accident and injury to persons or property.
7. The Old Fashioned Day committee will assign concession space. If the space you desire is available, we will try to accommodate you. 
8. A fire extinguisher must be in each trailer
9. Vendors are required to have all proper licenses with the City of Benton.
10. Each vendor is responsible for remitting this tax to the state. Excise tax forms for the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration will not be provided for each food vendor; it is the responsibility of the vendor to procure the necessary forms.

I, on behalf of myself, my employees, and/or partners, hereby release, forever discharge, and agree to hold harmless the following:

Old Fashioned Day Committee and the City of Benton and its representatives, Benton Public Utilities and its representatives, Old Fashioned Day staff and volunteers, and the directors thereof from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, death, or property damage and expenses of any kind that may be incurred by myself, my employees, or partners while participating in the above-described activity.

Furthermore, I, on behalf of myself, my employees, and/or partners, assume all risks associated with personal injury, sickness, death, property damage, or expenses resulting from participation in the recreational and/or work activities involved.

I also agree to hold harmless and indemnify the above-mentioned organizations and individuals from any liability arising from negligent, willful, or intentional acts committed by myself, my employees, or partners.
