            • Eligibility & Registration

              • Open to all registered Western Regional Survey Conference attendees.
              • Entries may be submitted by an individual, a project team, or a firm. One entry per category.
              • Maps must represent work completed within the last 3 years.
              • All entries must be pre-registered using the form at PLSeducation.org
              • Deadline to entry: March 5
              • Entry Fee: $20 per entry

              Format and Size

              • Each entry must be submitted as a printed map suitable for display. Attendees must post their entries on display boards in exhibit hall by noon on Wednesday.
              • In addition to the printed submission, high resolution image must be emailed to conference@PLSeducation.org by March 5
              • Map Contests Recommended size: 24x36,    Minimum size: 11x17
              • North Arrow Contest Minimum size: 8.5x11
              • Submissions may be laminated but cannot be mounted or framed as they will be pinned on large display boards.
              • The submitting firm or individual’s name and contact information should be placed on the back of the map, not the front, to support anonymous judging.
              • Sensitive information (for example, client names, personal data, or security-sensitive facilities) should be removed or generalized as appropriate.
                 

              Judging and Awards

              • A judging panel of 7 professionals from different states will judge entries.
              • Attendees will judge for People’s Choice award.
              • Winners will be announced at the closing ceremony on Saturday.
