Summer Job & Career Info Session

Interested in connecting with the next generation of workers in Golden?
We are hosting an information & connection event for Golden High School students and we need help from our local business community!

When: Thursday, April 2nd; 10:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (this includes set up and tear down time)

Where: Hosted by Golden High School

There are 3 ways to get involved:

1) Looking for summer employees, volunteers, or interns? Attend the event to promote your opportunity and connect with students looking for summer opportunties.

2) Provide entrepreneurial mentorship: Connect with students on how to build their own summer business (lawn mowing, child care, car detailing, etc). Provide mentorship and ideas for marketing, pricing, etc. Be a resource to them to answer questions on starting their own small summer business.

3) Talk about your industry: We are looking for industry professionals to speak with students about future career opportunities in the following areas: Construction, Trades, Sports Medicine, Hospitality, Outdoor Management, and Finance. If you are in that industry and want to spend a few minutes to promote why its a great field to consider, we would love to have you attend!

Want to help but the above options don't work for you? We will be providing lunch to employers and would love to provide cookies/snacks for students. If you can help with providing lunch or snacks, we would love to hear from you as well!
