Shelf Life
Refrigerator: Enjoy after 10-15 minutes at room temp or warm gently:
Freezer: Thaw overnight in fridge or 2-3 hrs at room temp. Reheat using Refrigerator method.
Tip: If sticky after warming, dust lightly with cornstarch. Do not refreeze after reheating.
Butter Mochi
Room Temp (sealed): 1-2 daysRefrigerator (sealed): 5-7 daysFreezer (sealed): Up to 2 months
Refrigerator: Rest at room temp 15-20 minutes or warm gently:
Microwave: 10-15 sec per sliceOven/Toaster Oven: 300 deg. F for 5-7 minutes
Freezer: Thaw overnight in fridge for 24 hours. Reheat in oven at 425 deg. F for 10-25 minutes. Rest 2-3 minutes before serving.
Tip: Higher heat restores crisp edges with a soft, chewy center. Do not refreeze once thawed.
