    Applying for the Boys & Girls Club Summer program does not automatically admit your child(ren) into this or any other program.

    You will receive a confirmation email once your application is complete. If you have additional questions, please email us at the address listed below.

    Once a spot is offered, your registration is not complete until payment is received. Dues for Summer Club are $50/week per child. You will be required to pay for 2 weeks up front ($100/child) as a deposit to hold your spot. All weekly dues need to be paid in advance using the link provided. We will not accept checks or payments at the Afterschool Club sites for the deposit.  

    All information will come to you via the email you put on this application.

    Please make sure to use the email you check the most often and enter it accurately. It is your responsiblity to check your email regularly. We are not responsible for missed information or deadlines due to missed emails.

    If admitted into the B&GC Summer Club, the information below is necessary for us to provide the best and safest care for each child. Please note: We will NOT have a certified medical professional (nurse) on the premises.

  • I hereby authorize an agent of the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Country (B&GC) to administer first aid and/or to seek emergency first aid for my child(ren).*
  • In the event that I cannot be reached to make arrangements for emergency medical attention, I authorize consent for an agent of the B&GC to call an ambulance to transport my child(ren) to the closest hospital.*
  • Children may need to have sunscreen applied when they will be outside for an extended period of time. Sunscreen will be available at the Club or you may send your own (be sure to label). It will not be applied to any broken skin area or if a skin reaction is present. Any skin reaction observed will be reported to a parent/guardian. I give the staff of the B&GC permission to apply sunscreen or to allow my child to apply sunscreen.*

  • CLUB RULES

    1. Cell phones are NOT allowed to be used at the Club. If a cell phone is seen, the member will be asked to put it away. If he/she refuses or has it out again, it will be taken up and stored in the Director's office until pick up time. It is the member's responsiblity to ask for the phone back at the end of the day.
    2. Outside food and drink are NOT permited in the club due to issues with severe allergies and the Summer Feeding Program Rules. If your child has a documented medically restricted diet please contact us so we can make arrangements with you.
    3. Participation in the Summer Club does not guarantee a spot in our Afterschool program. Nor does attending our Afterschool program guarantee a spot in our Summer Club. We serve kids on a first come, first served basis. A new application will have to be completed for each program, each year.
    4. Members’ and contacts’ address and phone numbers must be updated when it changes for your child’s safety.
    5. Only members are allowed in the Club.
    6. All members must sign in with the greeter as they enter each day.
    7. Appropriate clothing will be worn:
      • Closed toe shoes only (no flip flops or sandals) - we will be very active inside and outside and proper footwear is required for your child's saftey.
      • No halter tops, spaghetti straps, strapless tops, or shirts with inappropriate messages or logos, and no bare midriffs.
      • Shorts must be of modest length, and no undergarments should be seen.
      • Swimming attire can only be worn during water activities (you will be notified when water activities are scheduled).
    8. Members may not enter staff’s offices without first knocking and waiting until asked to come in. A member may never go into an office without a staff person.
    9. Members should show pride in the Club by keeping it clean. Food will be eaten only in designated areas and during designated times. When finished eating he/she needs to clean up his/her area.
    10. Gang colors and weapons are not allowed in or near our Club.
    11. Profanity in the Club is not allowed.
    12. All injuries or accidents must be reported immediately to staff.
    13. Any issues with other Club members must be brought to the attention of a staff member. Members should not retaliate or take matters into their own hands. Staff are there to help guide resolution of an issue in positive ways.
    14. The Club telephone is to be used ONLY for business calls and emergencies (i.e. injuries, illness). Calls for Club members are discouraged, but messages will be taken. Members must ask to use the telephone.
    15. Members who require constant attention or discipline will be suspended for an appropriate amount of time.
    16. Any member who engages in violent or delinquent behavior (including “play” fighting) will be subject to disciplinary action including suspension. This includes fighting, stealing, using abusive language, etc.
    17. Members must treat the staff and other Club members with respect.
    18. B&GC discourages bringing personal items to the Club. If a member chooses to bring personal items they must be placed in the designated area. Members must never take or go through another member’s belongings. Stealing will not be tolerated!

    THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE BIG COUNTRY AND ITS STAFF ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PERSONAL ITEMS BROUGHT TO THE CLUB. The member assumes the risk of loss or breakage of any personal item brought into the Club.

  • I understand and agree that the above written rules have been formed to help protect my child and other children at the Boys & Girls Club of The Big Country and to make it a Positive Place for Kids. I further agree to discuss the rules with my child(ren) and understand noncompliance with the rules could result in suspension of my child for a period of time or permanently.*
  • Disclaimer and Permission Statements

  • 1. It is agreed that the Boys & Girls Club of The Big Country (B&GC) assumes no liablity for injury or other losses as a result of being a member of the B&GC, and I agree to hold harmless the B&GC and its Agents.

    2. It is further agreed that any photographs taken of my child(ren) while they are members of the B&GC may be used for public relations purposes without further notice or permission from me.

    3. I agree to keep all Emergency Contact Information up to date.

    4. I understand the B&GC Staff is NOT responsible for any personal property brought to the Club by any members.

    5. I understand that all membership dues paid to the B&GC are NONREFUNDABLE.

    6. I understand that my child must be picked up from the Club by 5:30pm and that late pickup will result in late pick up charges and/or suspension of membership according to the Late Pick Up Policy.

    7. I understand this application is only valid for the 2026 Summer Camp. Participation in the Summer Camp does not guarantee a spot in our afterschool program.

    I UNDERSTAND THAT THE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE BIG COUNTRY IS NOT A LICENSED DAYCARE FACILITY AND IS NOT REGULATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PROTECTIVE AND REGULATORY SERVICE.

  • I understand and agree that B&GC Summer Club Dues are $50/week per child and must be paid on or by the Friday BEFORE the week of attendance. If dues are not paid and current my child(ren)'s membership(s) will be suspended and they will not be able to participate in Camp. Furthermore, their spot in the camp will be given to another child(ren) from the waiting list. I can reapply and be put on the waiting list until another spot is available.*
  • I give permission for the Boys & Girls Club to transport my child(ren) in a Boys & Girls Club van.*
  • I agree to allow my child to use the Internet (computer usage is monitored by B&GC staff).*
  • I agree to allow my child to use the EDSOMA reading tutor program (computer usage is monitored by B&GC staff).*
  • By typing my name below and submitting this application, I (1) declare under penalty of purjury under the laws of the United States of America that all of the information included in this application is true and correct; (2) I understand and agree with all of the above Disclaimer and Permission Statements; and (3) understand that completion of the application does not guarantee acceptance into the B&GC Summer Club or that assistance for child care of any type will be provided.

    In addition, my electronic signature states that I understand that continued admission and participaion in B&GC Summer Club is contingent upon the B&GC approval of my child(ren)'s behavior and the staff's ability to administer quality care for all children on site.
