Reflecting on the Journey: A Retreat for Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders: May 2-3, 2026

We are currently accepting applications for our twenty-eighth annual retreat! This retreat is designed to provide a relaxing and supportive environment for parents or caregivers to reflect on, explore, and share the rewards and challenges of raising a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. There will be opportunities for relaxation, discussion, networking, making new friends, having fun, and learning from other parents. Although there will be opportunities to learn, the format will be different from a conference in that there will be no formal educational presentations. We will have 90-minute discussion groups, and the atmosphere will be relaxed and casual. Barry Prizant, Ph.D., Speech-Language Pathologist, Elaine Meyer, Ph.D., Psychologist, and Barbara Domingue, M.Ed., ATP, Retreat Coordinator for Community Autism Resources, will facilitate the retreat. The past retreats were a great success, and we look forward to another rewarding and relaxing weekend in our lovely retreat location! Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible. Applications must be completed along with a $50.00 per person deposit using this link posted in this form. Applications and payments must be submitted by March 11, 2026. If you are confirmed to attend, you will receive a confirmation email and additional payment information.
