The Game Board
In our last post we answered "three key questions" ...
- How do you define financial success?
- What is your ultimate financial goal?
- How do you make financial decisions?
We ended that discussion by observing that most people make finanical decisions by consulting multiple — and often very different — sources.
Our role in this scenario: To serve as macro-managers. We make sure that every person you work with and get advice from is working together to serve you best.
We do that by using a "game board."
If you are a chess player you know that the game is played on a board of 64 alternating light and dark squares that serves as the battlefield for 32 pieces, 16 per side.
Its primary role is to provide a structured, spatial, and strategic layout for controlling territory, with the goal of trapping, and checkmating, the opponent’s king.
We do not use a chess board, but we do use a specifically designed "game board" that draws on well-known fundamental principles to serve as a financial model, a model, that when properly used, can show you — on one page — all of your financial data ...
A model that can help you make the best decisions to help you meet your financial goals.
How does it work?
As we collect all the financial data necessary to be placed on your "game board," our model will picture, on one page, everything needed to assess and manage your financial needs and goals.
It does so by addressing three broad categories:
- Protection
- Savings
- Growth
- It also helps us identify any debt concerns and explores ways to resolve them.
Of key importance, just like in chess, is where your financial pieces are placed.
There are specific places ...
- For every kind of protection
- For every kind of savings
- For every kind of growth
Our model not only helps place the right amounts in the right places at the right time ...
It helps you organize and track everything about your financial life so you can achieve your greatest financial freedom.
This model avoids hype and opinion. It accurately measures the efficiency of your financial data as you consider how much to put in each drawer of the model ...
By being this careful in determining how much goes where and when, it provides the information you need to choose the best course of action to achieve your desired results.
Using this model, we serve as educators, not salesmen.
With our model, you can ...
- Identify and measure where you are and plan for where you want to be
- Show how various financial strategies determine where your dollars should go
- Coordinate all financial decisions so that your long-term results create additional flexibility, wealth, retirement income, and asset protection.
This model allows us to ...
- Discover problems
- Identify what data we will need and use to solve them
- Visualize your data on a one-page model
- Implement actions to improve your financial position
- And, in the end, achieve your financial goals.
We walk your through the model at no cost ... and with no obligation.
Why? • Because we believe that when poprospective clients see what we do they will allow us to work with them to secure their financial future.
