    Applications must be received by 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

    LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

    Awards Presentation

    Scholarships will be awarded at the GNW Annual Members' Meeting, Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 7:30 p.m.

  • Criteria for Applicants

    • You must maintain a permanent address in the Great Northwest (Emerald Valley, Village Northwest, Commons at Village Northwest, Ridge Creek, Silver Creek Crossing, or Timberwilde subdivisions) as of the date of the annual meeting for the year in which the scholarship is being awarded (May 7, 2026). Scholarships are payable upon proof of summer or fall registration at any post-secondary educational institution.
    • Association assessments must be current for the property at which the permanent address is maintained.
    • The Great Northwest Community Improvement Association cannot have previously awarded you a scholarship.

    Evaluation Process

    • All applications will be reviewed.
    • Applications will be ranked by members of the Great Northwest Board Liaison and/or the Scholarship Committee.
    • Top applications may be invited to interview.

    • Paul and Jay Laushey Memorial Athletic Scholarship ($1000)
    • Mark Zoller Memorial Community Service Scholarship ($1000)

  • Scholarships Criteria

    • Camille F. Fiorillo Perpetual Scholarship
      • Academic Achievement of a 3.0 GPA or higher. Official transcript, report card, class ranking, etc. required as proof
      • Educational Goals and Career Aspirations
      • Academic Leadership (Clubs, Academic Competitions, Honor Societies, Research, etc.)
    • Paul and Jay Laushey Memorial Scholarship
      • Athletic Participation in a Great Northwest Community Sports League. Include league(s), years, and level of involvement.
      • Athletic Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Team Contribution
      • Commitment to Athletics (multiple seasons, team captain, mentoring, etc.)
    • Mark Zoller Memorial Scholarship
      • Community Service of 50 documented hours or more in the last 12 months. Verification required from supervising organization
      • Service to the Great Northwest and beyond
      • Leadership and Initiative through Volunteer Work Academics

    Letters of Recommendation are highly encouraged
