"A Tamale Named After You"

If you have an idea for a tamale that would be fun to eat, this contest is for you!
The winning tamale will be named after the entrant and added to our tamale menu. He/she will also receive a dozen free tamales on National Tamale Day.

Contest Guidelines

1. The contest is open (free) to all tamale fans in the Santa Barbara area.
2. One entry per person, please.
3. The entry may have meat or be meatless, vegetarian, vegan, savory or sweet.
4. A recipe is not required.
5. Ingredients need to be available locally.
6. Your tamale entry must be different from any on our current menu.
7. Judging: The contest judge is Richard Lambert, and the judging criteria
is based 100% on creativity.
8. Entries may be submitted through March 21st, and the winning entry
will be announced on National Tamale Day, March 23rd.
