  • How to Register for MEFCC TCG Arena Tournaments

    Each tournament (Pokemon, One Piece and Magic: The Gathering) has only 100 player spots available that will be allocated on a first come, first served basis based on players who sign up and pay the tournament entry fee.

    Step 1: Sign Up
    Complete the registration form below for the TCG Arena tournament that you would like to sign up for.

    Step 2: Pay Your Entry Fee
    Our Tournament Partner will contact you via email within 1 or 2 weeks with an online payment link to process your tournament entry fee.

    Step 3: Get Your Discounted MEFCC Ticket
    Once your entry fee payment is confirmed, MEFCC will send you a unique discount code via email to buy your 3 day MEFCC event ticket at a discounted price of AED 210 to be redeemed online. If you already have an MEFCC ticket you won't need to purchase this.

    Note: You must have an MEFCC event ticket to be able to participate in a TCG Arena tournament, so please ensure that you purchase your ticket using the discount code after you've paid the tournament entry fee.

    Each participant will receive 3 Booster Packs for participating.

    Participation Fee:

    AED 50 (Early Bird) – valid until 1st July
    AED 65 – standard pricing after 1st July
    Our official tournament partner, Shark Popculture, will contact registered players directly to complete payment.

    Tournament Date: Friday, 11th September

    ONSITE SCHEDULE
    Onsite Check-in: 3:30 PM
    Onsite Check-in Closes: 3:50 PM
    Tournament Begins: 4:00 PM sharp
    Please note: Players arriving after check-in closes will not be eligible to participate.

    FORMAT

    • Pokémon TCG Tournament (Cards with “H," “I,” and “J” regulation marks will be legal to use ONLY, Older versions of cards that don’t have a regulation mark can still be used if the card is currently legal for play).
    • Players are required to use a deck of 60 cards, with at least one Basic Pokémon, cannot contain more than four copies of any card (except Basic Energy).
    • Decklist submission is mandatory for this tournament
    • The tournament will run with 3 rounds of swiss format (30 minutes, best of 1) followed by a top cut of 8 or 16 (50 minutes, best of 3, single elimination) depending on the number of players.
    • Players are required to bring their own playmat.

    (All spots are currently filled. You can still register and join the waitlist. If a spot opens up, the partner will contact you on a first-come first-serve basis.)

    Tournament Begins: 1:15 PM sharp
    Please note: Players arriving after check-in closes will not be eligible to participate. 

    FORMAT

    • Latest Format, Latest Ban List Applies. No Proxies or Custom Cards
    • Players are required to use a deck of 50 cards + 1 Leader + 10 Dons
    • Decklist submission is mandatory for this tournament
    • The tournament will run on a Swiss round format with a Top cut
    • Each round will be 30 minutes with 5 minutes overtime.
    • Players are required to bring their own playmat.

  • Magic: The Gathering – 1V1 Duel Commander

    KEY INFORMATION

    Each participant will receive 3 Secrets of Strixhaven Booster Packs 

    Participation Fee:

    AED 65 – standard pricing 

    Our official tournament partner, Comicave, will contact registered players directly to complete payment.

    Tournament Date: Sunday, 13th September

    ONSITE SCHEDULE
    Check-in Opens: 11:00 AM
    Check-in Closes: 12:30 PM
    Tournament Begins: 1:00 PM sharp
    Please note: Players arriving after check-in closes will not be eligible to participate. 


    FORMAT

    • Deck Format: 1V1 Duel Commander 100-card Deck
    • Unique Banlist: Duel Commander Banlist | Complete Banned Cards, Commanders & Restricted List
    • 5 Rounds of Swiss (55 minutes per round)
    • Top 8 Single Elimination (75 minutes)
    • Finals: No time limit
    • Players must bring their own decks, life counters, tokens, dice, and playmats
    • No Proxies allowed
    • Capacity: 64 Players
