USAAux State Coordinator Application Form
  • Army Auxiliary Activation Project State Coordinator Application

Please be as detailed as possible.
  • About the State Coordinator Role

The State Coordinator is a volunteer leadership position within the U.S. Army Auxiliary Activation Project. This role exists to organize, develop, and coordinate grassroots support within a specific state or region in order to build informed public awareness and encourage Congressional authorization for a future U.S. Army Auxiliary.

A State Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include:

    • Organizing informal supporter meetings in accordance with established meeting guidelines

    • Identifying and developing serious, mission-committed supporters
Encouraging constituents to engage their U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators

    • Facilitating communication between local supporters and National Headquarters

    • Ensuring compliance with brand standards and organizational guidance

    • Promoting disciplined, professional conduct consistent with the mission.

This is not a government position and not military service. The U.S. Army Auxiliary does not currently exist as an authorized federal entity. State Coordinators serve strictly as volunteer organizers within a grassroots advocacy effort.

This role requires maturity, discretion, initiative, and the ability to lead without formal authority. It is intended for individuals who are prepared to move beyond online support and take active responsibility for building structured engagement within their state.

Applicants should understand that this position is focused on organization, communication, and legislative engagement — not symbolism, titles, or uniforms.

    Thank you.

  • Cover Letter and Resume Requirement:

Submission of both a cover letter and resume is required for consideration. The State Coordinator role is a leadership position that involves organizing supporters, communicating with elected officials, and representing the mission publicly and professionally. This is not a symbolic title or a social media role. It requires discipline, clarity, and the ability to communicate effectively in writing. Your cover letter allows us to evaluate your judgment, professionalism, and understanding of the mission. Your resume provides a record of leadership experience, responsibility, and sustained commitment. These documents help determine whether you possess the organizational maturity and communication skills necessary to lead at the state level. Individuals unwilling to complete a full application should not apply. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

I understand and acknowledge that this application is for a volunteer leadership role within a volunteer grassroots advocacy effort seeking Congressional authorization for a future U.S. Army Auxiliary.

I understand that the U.S. Army Auxiliary does not currently exist as an authorized federal entity. Any title of “State Coordinator” or similar designation is solely for internal organizational purposes within this advocacy initiative.  It does not carry a rank designation.

    I acknowledge that this position:

    • Is entirely voluntary and unpaid
    • Does not constitute employment
    • Does not create an employment contract or contractual relationship of any kind
    • Does not create any legal entitlement, property interest, or expectation of future appointment
    • Does not guarantee selection, retention, promotion, or future status within any organization that may be created
    • I further understand that, if the U.S. Army Auxiliary is formally authorized by Congress in the future, there is no guarantee that I will receive any official appointment, rank, membership status, or leadership role within that entity.

I acknowledge that my role, if appointed, is limited to organizing and facilitating informal supporter meetings within my state or region in accordance with established meeting guidelines (separate document). These meetings are grassroots gatherings of interested supporters and are not official military units or government-sponsored activities.

I agree that I will not represent myself as a member of a federally authorized military auxiliary, nor imply that the organization currently exists as a governmental body.

I understand that National Headquarters may modify, suspend, or terminate my volunteer coordinator role at any time, with or without cause, in order to protect mission integrity, brand compliance, or organizational stability.

By signing below, I affirm that I understand and agree to the above terms.
