• SEG Scale Lab Application

  • Thank you for your interest in Scale Lab! Scale Lab is SEG’s alumni growth program designed for high-potential Impact Accelerator graduates who are ready to scale their ventures, access capital, and strengthen their long-term social impact in Rhode Island. This program will prioritize ventures that have potential for transformational social impact. 

    Each year, 25 high-potential alumni are selected for individualized strategic support, capital navigation, and ecosystem connections. The estimated time per month is about 5 to 10 hours a month. Applications are due by May 11th. 

     

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Venture must demonstrate growth and measurable social impact

    • Venture must create a meaningful impact in Rhode Island or the broader New England region. While many of our ventures may already operate or create change globally, their work must also demonstrate a direct benefit to our local communities.

    • Venture must be a graduate of the SEG Impact Accelerator

    • Venture must be actively operating

    • Founder must commit to engagement and participation until the end of December.

    Application Review Process:

    The SEG team will review applications for basic eligibility criteria. Select ventures will then be invited to interview and will be scored based on venture readiness, growth potential, commitment to engagement, and alignment with Scale Lab's focus on scaling social impact in Rhode Island. Final participants will be notified after the review process is complete. Due to the limited cohort size, not all applicants will be selected. Applicants who are not selected may be connected to other SEG resources that support their current stage.
