    Advocacy Day Application for Students

    Join us at the North Carolina General Assembly for a day of advocacy and action! This event is for students who want to help raise awareness about period poverty and the need for better access to period supplies in NC schools.
  • Student requirements:

    • Be between the ages of 13–22
    • Submit an application by Sunday, April 12th
    • Know what period poverty is and why access matters

    If selected, we ask you are able to:

    • Attend weekly virtual trainings and action sessions at 7 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on April 20th
    • Attend Advocacy Day at the NCGA on Tuesday, May 19th
    • Understand period poverty and the need for access
    • Be ready to speak up and create change
