2026 Alumni Leadership & Service Award

Undergraduate and Graduate Student Nomination Form
Each year the College has the opportunity to recognize a graduating student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and service during her/his/their collegiate years at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.

Any student (Campus Undergrad, Woods Online or Graduate program) who will graduate at the May 2026 Commencement is eligible.

Nominations will be accepted from any student, faculty or staff member of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Please take a few moments to nominate a deserving student to receive the prestigious Alumni Leadership and Service Award given at commencement by the SMWC Alumni Association.

Nomination deadline is March 31.

Each student nominated will be asked to submit a résumé, and to complete a response nominee form that will be provided by the College. This information will assist the selection committee with their deliberations. The recipient will be announced at the May 2026 Commencement.

Incomplete nomination forms will not be accepted for consideration.

Please describe in a clear, concise, one page letter of nomination how the student has demonstrated exceptional service and responsible leadership to the College community during her/his/their years at The Woods. These acts of service and leadership could have been demonstrated through on campus activities or in her/his/their respective outside communities. Please keep in mind that this student does not have to be a top academic student, just one who has dedicated themselves to service and leadership.
