PETITION CALLING FOR ATTORNEY GENERAL PAM BONDI TO BE DISBARRED
We, the undersigned, respectfully urge the Florida Bar to immediately review and act upon the disciplinary complaint submitted by attorney Edward FitzGerald regarding the conduct of Pamela Bondi (Florida Bar #886440) during congressional testimony in 2025 and 2026.
Attorneys hold a unique responsibility to uphold the dignity, professionalism, and ethical standards of the legal profession — especially when serving in positions of public trust. The conduct described in this complaint demonstrates that Pam Bondi clearly violated those basic standards.
As outlined in the complaint, Attorney General Bondi’s testimony before Congressional committees included repeated refusals to answer questions, multiple personal insults directed at members of Congress, disruptive behavior, disrespect to victims who were present, and conduct that undermined the integrity of official proceedings. These actions were witnessed publicly and documented on the official record.
The complaint specifically cites potential violations of the Rules Regulating the Florida Bar, including:
Rule 4-3.5: Prohibiting conduct intended to disrupt a proceeding
Rule 4-8.4: Prohibiting conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
Rule 3-4.3: Prohibiting acts contrary to honesty, justice, or the integrity of the legal profession
The Florida Bar’s own Professional Expectations emphasize civility, respect, and professionalism in all legal settings — standards that must apply equally to every attorney, regardless of political office or status.
This petition is not about partisan politics. It is about protecting the integrity of the legal profession and ensuring that attorneys who hold powerful positions are held to the same ethical expectations as every member of the bar.

Open a formal disciplinary review of the conduct described in the complaint and consider the appropriate sanction, which we believe in this case would be disbarment.
