佛光山休士頓中美寺自2001年落成以來，秉持佛光山開山祖師星雲大師「以文化弘揚佛法、以教育培養人才、以慈善福利社會、以共修淨化人心」之四大宗旨，致力於服務會、弘法利生。
Since its completion in 2001, Fo Guang Shan Chung Mei Temple in Houston has upheld the Four Objectives established by Venerable Master Hsing Yun, the founder of Fo Guang Shan:
“To propagate the Dharma through culture, to foster talent through education, to benefit society through charity, and to purify human minds through spiritual cultivation.” The temple has been dedicated to serving the community and promoting the teachings of the Buddhism.
隨著道場活動日益增長，現有空間已不敷使用，特啟建文教館工程。新建文教館將具備多元化功能與靈活空間，設有教室、禪堂、齋堂、會議室與展覽區等，期能提供更多元的文化、教育與修行活動，惠及社會各界，讓佛法智慧普照人間。
As temple activities continue to grow, the current facilities can no longer meet the increasing needs. Therefore, the temple has initiated the construction of a new Cultural Center. The new center will feature multifunctional and flexible spaces, including classrooms, a meditation hall, a dining hall, conference rooms, and exhibition areas. It aims to provide diverse opportunities for cultural, educational, and spiritual development—benefiting the broader community and allowing the light of the Dharma to illuminate the world.

參加辦法：
- 可至櫃台或上網填寫文教館功德登記表。
- 功德款達 $500（含）以上者，功德芳名將刊登於功德榜；功德芳名恕不以「闔家」名義登記。
Participation Guidelines:
1. Construction Donation Form may be completed at the reception desk or online.
2. Contributions of $500 or above will be acknowledged on the Merit Board. Donor's name will be listed individually rather than as a family.
