UP & MRCI Marine Wildlife Questionnaire 2026
  • UP & MRCI Marine Wildlife Questionnaire 2026

  • Thank you for taking our survey!

The data you provide here will help protect your natural resources and ensure that your children and grandchildren continue to experience the same productive seas and marine wildlife that you have. We want to keep the ocean healthy and the fisheries productive for future generations. Your involvement today will help us to do that.

The information we collect here is being used to plan research, conservation, education, and environmental protection efforts. There will be no negative consequences, punishments, or reports to authorities for reporting the catch or harvest of protected species. That information will only be used to help us plan community engagement and education efforts in places where such take is occurring.

Please provide as much detail as you like. Names and contact information are particularly important so that we can follow up with knowledgeable local community members when we conduct onsite research in the future. As such, we ask you to please leave your name and phone number if you are willing to answer questions or assist in research in the future.

This survey will take about 15-20 minutes to complete. You may save your answers at the bottom of each page and come back later if you need more time.

Please let us know in the Notes and Comments section at the end of the survey if you have any recommendations. Please share the survey to any knowledgeable and experienced fisherfolk you know. The more responses we get, the more we learn.
