Trailer Rental Agreement

We offer a 12" x 8" flatbed to customers who purchase 10 panels or more. Please review and agree to our rental terms to reserve the trailer.
REQUIREMENTS:
You must have a 1/2 ton truck or SUV with standard ball hitch attachment. It must accept a 7-prong trailer plug.
RENTAL PERIOD AND FEES:
We have two times available: 9am-12:30pm and 1:30pm-5pm. During the week, we offer one time period free of charge and ask a $50 fee if you need both times. On weekends, we ask a $50 fee per time period. As others may be waiting, there is a $100 fee if the trailer is not returned as reserved.We ask a fully refundable security deposit to cover the value of the trailer; $5000 - to be paid by Credit. Glenview Ranch may apply the Security Deposit toward unpaid rental fees, damage, late fees, or other amounts due under this Agreement. Any remaining balance shall be returned after the Trailer is returned and inspected.
LIMITATIONS:
The trailer may be used ONLY to drop off items purchased from Glenview Ranch. If we find the trailer has been used for any other purpose, we will ask an additional $125 rental fee. The Trailer must not be used off-road or in unsuitable terrain, except as reasonably necessary for unloading.
RISK OF LOSS AND LIABILITY
Glenview Ranch does not provide insurance coverage for the Trailer, towing vehicle, cargo, or any third-party damages arising from the use of the Trailer. You are responsible for maintaining any auto or liability insurance for the towing vehicle and for the operation of the Trailer as required by law.
You are responsible for inspecting the trailer for saftey upon pickup to include but not limited to the condition of the tires, brakes, safety chains and signal lights. You are responsible for attaching the trailer to your tow vehicle and ensuring the load is secure. If Glenview Ranch assists with loading and/or hookup, you remain fully responsible.
You bear the risk of loss, theft, or damage to the Trailer from pickup until return.You are responsible for any physical damage to the trailer, tires, wheels, costs of towing, recovery, and loss or damage to include equipment or accessories. If the Trailer is stolen or deemed a total loss, you are liable for the fair market value of the Trailer at the time of loss ($5,000) and your security deposit will not be returned. You are responsible for all parking tickets, traffic violations, tolls, and similar charges incurred while the Trailer is in your possession.
Should an accident occur, you agree to release from any and all liability Glenview Ranch, it's owners and associates. This includes but is not limited to damage or harm to your tow vehicle, you, any passengers in your vehicle or harm to other persons or property associated with use of the trailer. To the fullest extent allowed by law, you shall indemnify and hold Glenview Ranch harmless from third-party claims, damages, fines, and expenses arising from use or towing of the trailer.
PRE AND POST INSPECTION:
Renter acknowledges receiving the Trailer in good working order, with functioning lights and tires in usable condition. It is recommended you take photos and video upon pickup and return, should any change in damage later be contested. The trailer shall be returned in substantially the same condition as at pickup, reasonable wear and tear excepted.
GOVERNING LAW:
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties regarding the rental of the Trailer and supersedes all prior written or verbal arrangements on this subject. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Placer County, California without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
