Join Del Ray Artisans in its tradition of outdoor art markets! This is an outdoor, family-friendly, rain-or-shine event in the Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields adjoining Del Ray Artisans gallery at 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA.

Artist Participation Fee:

• Booth Fee: $25 for Del Ray Artisans Members and $40 for non-members
• Plus 10% of sales

Note: Your Del Ray Artisans membership must be current to benefit from the member rate for the Booth Fee. You may renew expired membership or join now to pay the member rate.

Entry Details:

• Booth fee is for a 10' x 10' space.
• Booth fee is due by the application deadline (Sunday, April 5, 2026) by midnight. The booth fee will be refunded if the artist is not accepted into the market. No-shows and cancellations after April 25, 2026 will not be refunded.
• Booth fee may be paid with check or credit card at the gallery or by credit card online.
• Artists must provide their own tents, weights, and displays (including tables and chairs). IMPORTANT: Artists are required to use weights to secure their tent. Stakes are not allowed in the field.
• Artists must process their own sales.
• Because space is limited, vendor acceptance is at the discretion of the coordinators.
• Artists will be notified by email of acceptance by Sunday, April 12, 2026.
• All items for sale must be produced by the artist selling at the Market.
• This is a rain or shine event. You are expected to set up and stay for the entire 6 hours regardless of the weather.
• No electricity is provided.

Important Dates:

• Deadline for Applications and Booth Fee is Sunday, April 5, 2026 by midnight.
• Artists will be notified of acceptance by Sunday, April 12, 2026.
• Set-up is the morning of Saturday, May 9, 2026 starting at 7:30am. Artists must be fully set up and ready to sell at 9am in their assigned space in Mount Vernon Recreation Center fields, next to Del Ray Artisans gallery, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22301.
• The market is on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 9am-3pm.
  
• Street parking is available. Artists may NOT park in the bank parking lot across the street.

Artwork Images

• You must provide up to three (3) files that represent the work you will be selling at the Market.
• Acceptable file types are gif, jpg, jpeg, pdf, and png; up to 5MB in file size. Smart phone photos are acceptable.
• Please also include one (1) photo or sketch that shows your booth set-up. Smart phone photos are acceptable.
• Your file names should begin with "YourLastName-FirstName".
• Permission to use any uploaded artwork image for Del Ray Artisans publicity and archival purposes is automatically granted by the artist as a requisite for entering the market. 

Application Checklist

To be considered for the Spring Art Market, Del Ray Artisans must receive your complete application by midnight on April 5, 2026. A complete application includes submission of:

1. This application
2. Images uploaded to this form
3. Payment of booth fee via credit card online (the payment page will show after "Submit Application" is selected below) or by check or credit card at the gallery

Reminder: Besides the booth fee due with this application, the participation fee for all artists also includes an additional 10% of each artist's total sales during the market, which will be collected at the end of the day during checkout/break down.
