Shipping and Service Terms:

Once your documents are shipped, either within the US or Internationally, JH Notary & Apostille Service is not responsible for your documents while in the custody of the carrier. We will however provide you with a tracking number from the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, or DHL) so that you can monitor your shipment.

International Shipping:

The time frame for international shipping is typically 3 to 5 days, but can take longer due to international customs delays which is beyond our control.

Completed Apostilles:

Completed apostilled documents will be returned to you at the address provided, unless you request a different method in writing. Alternate shipping outside the Contiguous U.S will result in additional costs to you.

Unforseen Delays (Force Majeure)

JH Notary & Apostille Service assumes no liability for delays or issues caused by events beyond our control. This includes natural disasters, government delays, Government policy changes or errors, shipping carrier issues errors and delays, courier delays, or other unexpected events not caused by JH Notary and Apostille Service. This list is not exhaustive. If such a situation occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible and do our best to minimize the impact. Please note that some solutions may result in additional costs to you.

Payment Terms

Full payment is required before the start of your service.

Non-Hague Countries

If the destination country of your document is NOT a party to the Hague Apostille Convention, your document will need additional legalization which will extend the processing time-frame as well as the cost.

Non-Florida documents

If your document is originally from a state other than Florida, the price and timeframe may be different from those mentioned above.

Document Integrity

All completed apostilles must maintain their integrity once delivered to you (the client). Your document must NOT be separated from the apostille certificate. Neither the apostille certificate nor the attached document(s) should be laminated. If the apostille certificate is separated from your document, or laminated, it will automatically be voided.

Document Retrieval Service

Document retrieval timeframe will vary depending on the government agency's processing time frame. The cost of the service will also vary depending on the type of document needed.

Improperly Notarized Documents

Beaches Notary and Apostille Service assumes no liability for errors or defects in notarizations performed by notaries commissioned outside the State of Florida or by notaries other than those representing Beaches Notary and Apostille Service.
