    About the Program

The Go for the Greens Foundation, Inc. offers a Mentorship Experience that connects high school and college women with accomplished business leaders. This program is designed to recognize leadership potential, encourage ambitious goal‑setting, and support participants in exploring pathways toward entrepreneurship or professional careers.

The Mentorship Experience is an in‑person, highly interactive program that provides educational sessions, peer engagement, and exposure to a wide range of career opportunities. With the theme “If you see it, you can BE it,” the program aims to broaden participants’ understanding of possible future professions.

The 2026 Experience will be held in conjunction with the Go for the Greens Women’s Business Development Conference from Thursday, October 1, through Saturday, October 3, at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Interested applicants should complete the online application by April 30, 2026. Due to anticipated high demand, early submission is encouraged. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by May 30, 2026, allowing adequate time to make travel arrangements.

    Participant Comitment

Accepted mentees are expected to fully engage in all components of the program. Ongoing communication and follow‑up with the Mentorship Team are essential to the program’s continued success. To maintain a focused learning environment, cell phone use is restricted during program activities.

    Eligibility

The minimum age for participation is 18. Exceptions may be made if:

    • A parent or guardian attends the conference and serves as a chaperone, or
    • An organization sponsors the mentee and provides a chaperone.

Applicants under 18 must submit two teacher references with their application. All minors must have a designated chaperone.

Lodging policies require that at least one participant aged 18 or older occupy each hotel room. The Foundation will only cover the cost of the room if there are at least two mentees occupying it. Additionally, if a chaperone is attending at their own expense, there must also be a minimum of two mentees in the room, along with the chaperone, for the foundation to provide coverage for the room nights.

    Program Cost

The program is valued at $3,500. While participation is offered at no cost to the mentee, a $300 donation is required upon acceptance to help offset lodging and program expenses. The remainder of the costs are covered by generous donors who support the Go for the Greens Foundation. As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax‑deductible.

Thank you for your interest, and we wish you continued success.
