IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT OUR TEAM
IF YOUR DANCER MAKES THE TEAM OUR ELITE LAB (BOOT CAMP) WILL BE HELD JULY 20TH-26TH AND IS MANDATORY FOR PLACEMENT, LEADERSHIP & SOME COMPETITION PARTICIPATION.
By auditioning for our team dancers and parents acknowledge understanding of the expectations associated with participation on our Competitive Dance Team.
Participation on this team represents a commitment to consistent training, technical growth, teamwork, and full-season involvement. Dancers selected for the team are required to attend all scheduled classes, rehearsals, performances, and team activities as outlined by the studio.
We understand that many dancers participate in school programs and other extracurricular activities. Families should carefully consider scheduling commitments prior to accepting placement on the team. Practice schedules, performances, and required classes will not be adjusted to accommodate individual conflicts.
We totally get it – life can be a whirlwind of extracurricular activities, but when you're part of our team, we're all in this together! While we understand that you might have other commitments, once you've signed up for competitions or choreography, we're counting on you to bring your A-game.
Choreography, instructors, and competition fees don't come cheap, and when dancers don't stick to their commitments, it's like a dance routine without its rhythm it just doesn't flow! Plus, it means extra work for everyone involved to restage and rework routines.
Dancers are expected to arrive prepared, focused, and ready to fully participate in every class and rehearsal. Attendance alone does not fulfill team expectations. Regardless of prior activities, dancers are expected to give their full effort while in the studio. If a dancer has given energy elsewhere during the day, we still expect the same level of commitment, focus, and work ethic during team training.
Competitive dance requires discipline, consistency, and personal responsibility. Effort, attitude, and participation directly impact both individual progress and team success. If attendance, effort, or commitment level begins to affect training or team readiness, studio leadership reserves the right to make decisions that support the integrity and standards of the program.
Our goal is to provide a positive, structured environment where dancers grow not only in skill, but in accountability, resilience, and excellence.
Additionally, our team has a very strict social media policy, and all dancers are expected to show respect to ALL instructors and coaches. We are a training-based team, meaning dancers are expected to regularly attend classes and fully participate in their training to be eligible to compete.
By auditioning you are acknowleging and accepting these expectations as a condition of participation on the Competitive Dance Team if selected.
