This form is in three steps. Before you begin, you're going to need to prepare some information to make your connection journey as smooth as possible:
1. Company Information
You need to gather together the following information about your company:
- Legal company name
- Registered company number
- Registered office address
- Country of incorporation
- Trading office address
- Primary contact details
- Technical contact details
- Website
- Certification status (for ISO/IEC 27566-1; IEEE 2089.1 or anything similar)
You should not worry if you do not currently have a certified product, you can still apply to connect to the AVID Monitoring Service if you are currently going through certification or intend to do so shortly. You also do not have to be certified by ACCS, you can choose your own certification body and still use this service. If you do not wish to be independently certified then you will not be eligible for participation in this service.
2. Authorised Signatory Approval
When you complete the application, an email will be sent to a senior person in your company who is authorised to sign contracts. You will need to let us know who they are.
3. API Connection Parameters
You will need to provide us with some connection details. In this form we will ask for some simple information to help us to configure your connection. We will not be asking for the secure passwords and keys in this form. We will do that separately through an encrypted link when we have configured your connection.
So, for now, we will be asking you the following technical details:
- Base API URL (e.g. https://api.example.com)
- Endpoint path (e.g. /avid/status)
- Environments available: ☐ Sandbox available ☐ Production only
- IP allowlisting required? ☐ Yes ☐ No
- Supported authentication type: ☐ Basic Auth ☐ Bearer Token ☐ Mutual TLS
- Expected rate limits (if applicable)
We will not be asking (at this stage) for any authentication username, password or encryption keys.
You'll be able to save the form as you go through so you can come back to it as necessary.
