Wanariadha Kilifi Recreational Club, in collaboration with the County Government of Kilifi, is excited to host the Kilifi Annual Run on Saturday, 4th July 2026.

This is more than just a run, it’s a charity event dedicated to Empowering lives through mobility and skills within the county. All proceeds and efforts from this event will directly benefit the The Accessibility Institute (TAI), which is a community-based social enterprise that designs and produces durable, all-terrain wheelchairs for adults and children with mobility disabilities, particularly in coastal and rural areas.

Safari Seat addresses the challenges of rough terrain through puncture-proof wheelchairs while promoting long-term empowerment by combining mobility support with vocational training and seed funding opportunities, restoring dignity, independence, and access to livelihoods for people with disabilities. We are confident that, with your support, we can make a meaningful impact by connecting mobility with Empowerment.

We have 42KM, 21KM, 10KM and 5KM family fun run distances. All Participants will receive a finishers medal, T-shirt, drawstring bag and running bib.

For virtual participants, please note that your running kit will be delivered to you after the run, at a small delivery fee. You will also need to share evidence of your run stats using Strava or any other running app that tracks your distance and time via kilifimarathon@gmail.com.

1. Non-Refundable Registration Fee - Once your registration is confirmed and payment is made, the registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
2. Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability - Participation in the charity run is voluntary. Wanariadha Kilifi Recreational Club, its organizers, partners, and sponsors will not be liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage sustained during or as a result of your participation in the event.
3. Personal Responsibility - It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they are medically and physically fit to take part in the run. Participants are encouraged to consult with a healthcare provider if they have any health concerns.
4. Photography and media content - By registering and participating in the Wanariadha Kilifi Annual Run, you consent to photography, video recording, and media coverage during the event. Photos and videos may be used by Wanariadha Kilifi Recreational Club for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, newsletters, and future event marketing materials. Participants who do not wish to be photographed or recorded should inform the event organizers in advance or at the registration desk on the event day.
5. Race closing time - The official time limit for the 42 KM race is 6 hours, and 21 KM race is 4 hours from the official start time. All participants must complete the race within this period.
