⚠️Operational Note:

Extended / after-school hours and variable schedules require prior coordination and confirmation with parents or legal guardians and are subject to an additional charge above the established regular route rate. The additional charge will be determined based on the schedule, waiting time, and logistics required to provide the service.

⚠️ Billing Terms, Payment Policy, and Accepted Payment Methods

 

Billing Terms

• Transportation services are contracted and billed on a weekly basis every Monday. The weekly fee covers the reservation of the student's seat within the assigned route and is not based on the number of days the service is used.

• Payment for the weekly service must be received no later than the end of the day on Monday. Beginning Tuesday, any outstanding balance will be considered past due and will be subject to a late fee of $5.00 per day until paid in full.

• If payment, including any accumulated late fees, has not been received within two (2) calendar days, RouteXpress Transportations LLC reserves the right to temporarily suspend transportation services until the account is brought current. Service reinstatement will require payment of the full outstanding balance.

• The weekly fee remains unchanged whether the student uses the service for one day, several days, or every day during the contracted week. Partial use of the service does not qualify for discounts, credits, refunds, or adjustments to the established rate.

• A student's voluntary absence due to parental or legal guardian decisions, personal activities, vacations, school events, extracurricular activities, or any reason unrelated to RouteXpress Transportations LLC does not alter the weekly fee for the contracted service.

• An exception may only be considered when the student does not use the service for an entire school week, Monday through Friday, due to illness, hospitalization, family emergency, or another documented circumstance beyond the family's control, provided that such situation is properly communicated and coordinated with RouteXpress Transportations LLC.

• In cases of extended absence due to illness or force majeure, RouteXpress Transportations LLC may waive charges for subsequent affected weeks, provided that prior communication has taken place and approval has been granted by the company.

• During an extended absence, RouteXpress Transportations LLC may reassign the reserved seat temporarily or permanently to another student requiring transportation services. Temporary suspension of payments does not guarantee preservation of the originally assigned seat.

• Upon the student's return, RouteXpress Transportations LLC will make every reasonable effort to reinstate the student; however, availability will depend on route capacity at the time re-enrollment is requested.

Accepted Payment Methods

RouteXpress Transportations LLC accepts the following payment methods:

• Zelle: The memo or payment reference must include the student's full name and the week being paid.

• Check: Checks must be made payable to RouteXpress Transportations LLC and include the student's full name and the week being paid.

• Credit or Debit Card: Card payments are subject to an additional 3% processing fee, reflecting the payment processing charges imposed by the payment provider.

• Payment Confirmation
  Parents or legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that each payment includes the information necessary to properly identify the student and the corresponding service week.

RouteXpress Transportations LLC shall not be responsible for delays in payment processing resulting from incomplete, incorrect, or missing information in the payment memo, reference, or description.

Modifications and Exceptions

• Any rate adjustment, exception, temporary service suspension, special consideration, or policy modification must be coordinated, reviewed, and expressly approved by RouteXpress Transportations LLC in advance.

• No absence, request, or individual circumstance shall automatically generate discounts, credits, refunds, or modifications without prior written authorization from the company.

• RouteXpress Transportations LLC reserves the right to modify its billing and payment policies when necessary for the proper operation of the service. Parents or legal guardians will be notified in advance of any applicable changes.

• By contracting transportation services with RouteXpress Transportations LLC, parents or legal guardians acknowledge and agree that transportation services are contracted and guaranteed on a weekly basis, not a daily basis.

3. Our responsibility is to transport students safely and efficiently while maintaining an environment of respect, order, and appropriate behavior for all passengers.
4. For this reason, every student is expected to maintain appropriate conduct that contributes to the collective well-being of all passengers and helps ensure a safe, high-quality transportation service.

📍 General Rules of Conduct

• All students must treat the driver, attendants, and fellow students with respect at all times.

• Aggressive behavior, intimidation, bullying, threats, teasing, offensive language, discrimination, or any conduct that negatively affects the physical, emotional, or psychological well-being of another student will not be tolerated.

• Fighting, pushing, rough play, physical aggression, or any behavior that may jeopardize the safety of passengers is strictly prohibited.

• Students must remain properly seated while the vehicle is in motion and follow all driver instructions related to safety.

• Students may not distract the driver through excessive noise, inappropriate behavior, or any action that could interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.

• All students have equal rights and responsibilities while using the service. No student will receive preferential treatment.

• Seats are not assigned as personal or permanent property. RouteXpress Transportations LLC reserves the right to assign or change seating arrangements whenever necessary for operational, organizational, or safety reasons.

• Throwing objects inside or outside the vehicle is prohibited.

• The use of toys, objects, or items that may distract the driver or create a safety hazard for passengers is not permitted.

• Food and beverages may not be consumed inside the vehicle unless prior authorization has been granted by RouteXpress Transportations LLC.

• All students must respect the personal belongings and well-being of other passengers.

 

📍 Zero Tolerance for Bullying and Violence

RouteXpress Transportations LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding any form of bullying, intimidation, harassment, or violence.

 

The following behaviors will not be permitted under any circumstances:

• Verbal or psychological harassment.
• Repeated teasing or ridicule of other students.
• Threats or intimidation.
• Intentional exclusion of other students.
• Physical aggression or unwanted physical contact.
• Any conduct that causes fear, discomfort, or negatively impacts the well-being of another passenger.

Students’ emotional safety is just as important as their physical safety.

 

📍 Damage to Property

Students are expected to respect the vehicle and all equipment at all times.

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Scratching, tearing, or damaging seats.

• Tampering with electronic equipment or entertainment systems.

• Damaging seat belts.

• Altering or damaging any component of the vehicle.

• Intentionally dirtying or vandalizing the interior or exterior of the vehicle.

Parents or legal guardians will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by a student and may be required to cover repair or replacement costs when applicable.

📍 Procedure for Inappropriate Conduct

To maintain a safe and respectful environment for all students, the following disciplinary procedure will be followed when established rules are violated:

First Incident

• The student will receive a verbal warning delivered respectfully, professionally, and without insults or offensive language.

Second Incident

• Parents or legal guardians will be notified of the behavior and asked to assist in correcting the situation.

Third Incident

• A formal notice will be issued informing the parents or legal guardians that the behavior continues to affect the safety, well-being, or overall environment within the transportation service.

Repeated or Serious Misconduct

• If inappropriate behavior continues after the warnings and notifications described above, or if the behavior poses a risk to the safety of other passengers, the driver, or the operation of the service, RouteXpress Transportations LLC reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate transportation services for that student.

📍 Protection of All Students

• The safety, well-being, and peace of mind of all students transported by RouteXpress Transportations LLC shall take precedence over any individual preference or interest.

• Accordingly, the company reserves the right to take any measures it deems necessary to maintain a safe, respectful, organized, and positive environment for all students and transportation personnel.

📍 Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

• RouteXpress Transportations LLC reserves the right to deny, suspend, or terminate service when a student's behavior poses a risk to the safety, integrity, comfort, well-being, or property of other passengers, the driver, or the company.

• Any suspension or termination of service will be communicated to the parents or legal guardian in advance, except in exceptional situations where immediate action is necessary to protect the safety of others.
