• Mini Murals: 2026 Artist Registry Application

  • Mini Murals transforms traffic signal control cabinets into works of civic art throughout Houston and surrounding communities. The program operates in partnership with municipalities and public agencies and installs artwork on publicly owned infrastructure.

This application is for artists seeking inclusion in the 2026 Mini Murals Artist Registry.
Current Mini Murals artists in good standing do not need to reapply.

Inclusion in the Artist Registry does not guarantee a commission. Artists selected for the registry will be required to sign an Artist Agreement before being eligible for project consideration.

  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Letter of Interest

You may also describe specific types of imagery, themes, or neighborhoods that inspire you or that you would be especially interested in interpreting through a Mini Mural.
