As A Customer: Sign the Pledge to Protect Our Immigrant Workforce From the Terror of ICE
Immigrant workers need support from customers now more than ever. Sign on below to support our efforts. As customers of local businesses, we are demanding: (1) Workplace safety plans and "Know Your Rights" training for all workers and managers to protect staff in the event of a federal law enforcement action. (2) Enforcement of the right to deny law enforcement agents access to any private areas of a business without a valid judicial warrant. (3) Enforcement of the right to refuse service to known ICE or federal agents in businesses, to ensure the safety of all workers and customers. (4) Flexibility be granted to workers who take time off to stay safe and/or manage immigration proceedings (such as immigration court or ICE check-ins) without punishment by management or fear of discipline or loss of job.
