    The following policies are addressed in the Schoolhouse for the Excellency of Knowledge Handbook)
  • As the parent of this child, do you agree to pay to replace and/or repair damages he/she causes due to negative behaviors?
  • Do you agree to volunteer one day during the school year or pay $100 for a substitute to cover your volunteer day?
  • Do you agree to NOT send your child to school within 24-hours of a fever not being controlled by medications, vomiting, or having been diagnosed with a communicable illness?
  • The Schoolhouse for the Excellency of Knowledge supplies curriculum for your child. Do you agree to pay for lost or damaged materials supplied for your child?*
  • Do you agree to send your child with food for each day?
  • The Schoolhouse for the Excellency of Knowledge does not allow food or drinks that include red dyes, high fructose sugar, and/or caffeine? Do you agree to NOT send your child with any products that include those ingredients?
  • Student Conduct and Safety Policy Agreement

    The Schoolhouse for the Excellency of KnowledgeStudent Conduct and Safety Policy Agreement maintains a firm and unwavering commitment to providing a safe, orderly, and respectful learning environment for all students. By enrolling a child, parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to uphold the school’s policy prohibiting bullying, harassment, intimidation, threats, and intentional destruction of property.

    In any instance where such behaviors are reported or observed, parents/guardians will be notified promptly. Resolution efforts may involve a collaborative approach between school staff, parents/guardians, and the student. The Schoolhouse reserves the right to determine appropriate corrective action based on the severity and circumstances of the behavior.

    Corrective actions may include, but are not limited to:

    Placement in an alternative supervised setting within the school

    Early dismissal from the school day

    Temporary denial of attendance during regular school hours

    Suspension or expulsion

    The Schoolhouse reserves the sole discretion to determine whether a student’s continued enrollment poses a disruption or safety concern to others.

    In the event of expulsion or voluntary withdrawal related to disciplinary action, any tuition remaining after thirty (30) days will be returned to the HOPE Scholarship in accordance with West Virginia state policy.

    Where appropriate, alternative learning approaches may be offered for a limited time to support continuity in the student’s education until another educational placement is secured.

    By signing this Enrollment Agreement, parents/guardians acknowledge their understanding of and agreement to abide by this Student Conduct and Safety Policy.
