Membership Options:

Artist Member — $40/year

For practicing artists who want to participate fully in SVA programming.

Artist Membership is a cooperative membership and requires active volunteer participation.

• Opportunity to exhibit in SVA Gallery and exhibits.
• Artist webpage on the SVA website.
• Access to professional development programs.
• Access to social events.
• SVA newsletter.

Expectations:

• Volunteer by serving on an SVA committee during the year.
• Contribute at least 4 Small Works pieces to the annual fundraiser.
• Engage with fellow members in a respectful and constructive way.

Friend of the Arts — Free

For community members who want to support SVA through volunteering.

• Includes volunteer opportunities.
• Does not include exhibiting artwork.

Patron Member — Financial Supporter

For individuals who wish to financially support SVA’s mission.

Patron levels:

• $500
• $1,000
• $2,500+

Artist Review Guidelines

The review committee looks for a cohesive and intentional body of work that tells a story. This includes not only a story within the work itself, but also a story about who you are as an artist. Please note that the medium or mediums in which you are accepted will be the only mediums you may exhibit in SVA member shows or the SVA Gallery. For example, an artist accepted as a watercolor painter would not be permitted to exhibit jewelry.

Volunteering is essential to our day-to-day operations.

Artist Members are required to serve on a SVA committee during the year. 

Friend of the Arts are invited to serve on committees and assist with exhibits and events.
