For practicing artists who want to exhibit and participate fully in SVA programming.

Artist Review Guidelines

The review committee looks for a cohesive and intentional body of work that tells a story. This includes not only a story within the work itself, but also a story about who you are as an artist. Please note that the medium or mediums in which you are accepted will be the only mediums you may exhibit in SVA member shows or the SVA Gallery. For example, an artist accepted as a watercolor painter would not be permitted to exhibit jewelry.

Maximum file size: 10 MB per image. Accepted formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or PDF. Images should be clear, well lit, and cropped to show only the artwork.

Volunteering at SVA
SVA is a cooperative of artists, and volunteering is essential to our day-to-day operations. Artist Members are required to contribute at least 12 volunteer hours per year.
