  • One of the seven key objectives of SCAR's 2023-2028 strategic plan is to reduce the carbon footprint of all SCAR activities. To support this goal, we need to better understand the current carbon footprint of SCAR activities.

    We would like to request your support in estimating the carbon footprint of travel to the 2026 Open Science Conference. We appreciate that you may not yet have made your travel plans but we would be grateful for as much information as you are able to provide us with at this stage. Please fill out the short, anonymous survey below for both your outward and return journeys. It should take no longer than 5 minutes.

  • Note: 

    By section of a journey, we mean one part of your journey between two points. For example in a journey that starts with a train to the airport, the train would be the first section and the flight would be the second. 

    For air travel please indicate the name of the airports you travel from and to.
