NAMI NYS Mental Health Provider of the Month Nomination

NAMI New York State proudly recognizes outstanding mental health professionals who go above and beyond to support individuals and families living with mental illness. The Mental Health Provider of the Month award honors those whose compassion, dedication, and professionalism make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Providers will be recognized in NAMI NYS's E-News each month and maild a certificate from NAMI NYS. Help us shine a light on providers whose everyday efforts too often go unrecognized, but whose impact is truly life-changing.

This nomination is open to mental health counselors, crisis counselors, social workers, Mental Health/Substance Use prevention specialists, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals who provide direct care, support, or clinical services for people affected by mental health conditions. Nominees may work in clinical, community-based, school, hospital, crisis, or integrated care settings.

Exceptional commitment to person-centered, recovery-oriented, and trauma informed care
Treatment of individuals and families with dignity and respect
Reduces stigma while improving access to quality mental health services.
