    This year’s celebration will feature the Expressions of Experience art exhibit opening wtih ELLEmnop Art and the Letter It Out book launch, creating a dynamic evening of art, storytelling, and community engagement.

    At The Red Shoes, we believe in the power of community and the importance of honoring everyone’s unique gifts and insights. We want to ensure we provide an amazing experience for both you and our guests.

    This agreement is designed to create clarity, alignment, and shared expectations so that our partnership feels supportive and well-organized. Please review the information carefully, as these guidelines help ensure a smooth and successful event for everyone involved.

    Event Details

    • Date: Friday, May 8, 2026
    • Location: The Red Shoes, 2303 Government Street
    • Set-Up Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    • Event Start Time: 6:00 PM
    • Event End Time: 10:00 PM
    • Vendor Breakdown: 9:45 PM – 10:45 PM (Hard Stop)

    Event Flow

    • Vendors: We have space for up to 10 vendors in the alleyway on the right side of our building. We plan to decorate the alleyway with lights and signs to bring attention to our space.
    • Front Yard: We plan to have music in the front of the lawn to attract people to our space and funnel them to the alleyway to peruse (and hopefully purchase) your goods.
    • Courtyard: The courtyard will serve as guest entry and exit and will include tarot readings facilitated by The Red Shoes.
    • Inside:
      • Refreshments: The Red Shoes will have complimentary refreshments and drinks available for guests.
      • Book Sale: We have a ton of used books we will be selling for $2-$3 each inside - along the hallway and in our lobby area.

    Vendor Guidelines

    • Vendor Registration: Potential vendors should complete a Vendor Registration Form by Friday, March 20, 2026. Vendor selection is by a first come/first serve basis. 
    • Fees: Vendor participation is confirmed only upon receipt of a $50 non-refundable vending fee.
    • Set-Up: Vendors may begin setting up at 4:00 PM and should be fully prepared by 6:00 PM. Please arrive on time to allow ample time for unloading and arranging your space. 
    • Equipment: Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tables, tents, and any necessary materials for their display. If you do not have a table, please let us know in advance to discuss possible accommodations.
    • Electricity: Electricity is available on a first come/first serve basis as electricity is not available at all areas. Outlets are NOT guaranteed and extension cords are not provided.
    • Space Assignment: Vendor spaces will be assigned upon arrival. Please check in when you arrive to receive your designated area.
    • Breakdown: Vendor breakdown begins promptly at 9:45 PM. All vendors must be fully packed and cleared from the premises by 10:45 PM. Vendor spaces must be left clean and free of debris.
    • Weather Considerations: This is an outdoor event, so please plan accordingly. Bring any needed weather protection for your materials.
    • Liability Waiver: The Red Shoes will not be held responsible for any stolen or damaged items during or after the event. 

       

    Additional Information

    • Parking: Designated vendor unloading zones will be available. Once you’ve unloaded, please move your vehicle to the designated vendor parking area. We have ample parking in our parking lot, located in the back of our building.
    • Sales & Payment: Vendors are responsible for handling their own transactions. Ensure you have the necessary cash, card readers, or mobile payment options.
    • Promotion: Help us spread the word! Share event details on social media and invite your customers to visit your booth.
    • Cancellation: Please notify The Red Shoes ASAP and at least 48 hours in advance if the you are unable to attend the event and need to cancel your vendor registration.
    • Code of Conduct: The Red Shoes is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and safe space for all participants. Abusive language, harassment and/or discrimination will not be tolerated.
