Job Descriptions

TICKET SALES is a fast-paced environment where you will make cash and card transactions for Taco Wars Tickets. Tickets are $1 for 1 ticket and are used to purchase everything at Taco Wars: tacos, treats, drinks, alcohol, and merchandise.

MERCHANDISE SALES is a moderate-paced environment where you will make sales of T-Shirts and other Taco Wars or Prize Fest merchandise.

CONCESSIONAIRES is a moderate-paced environment where you will serve up waters and sodas to customers that visit your booth. You will keep the sales going smoothly and the space looking clean and professional.

BAR BACKS a fast-paced environment where you will assist the licensed bartenders. You will keep the sales going smoothly and the space looking clean and professional. You must be 21+ to volunteer at the bar! Must be able to lift 20 lbs bags of ice, cartons, etc.

VIP ROOM ATTENDANT will help brighten the VIP experience at Taco Wars. Greeting VIPs as they check in, checking for wristbands and badges, assisting with questions and directions, etc.

SETUP CREW will assist us in setting up the space for the Festival: helping taquerias arrange their booths, moving chairs and tables, etc. Note that this position is relatively labor-intensive—come get swole with us.

Help us set up Taco Wars the day before the event! It is recommended that individuals be capable of lifting 10 lbs.
